Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of the RuleFoundry website and customer application.

Effective date: July 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of rulefoundry.com and the RuleFoundry customer application including its plugins, connectors, and MCP endpoints (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Service

RuleFoundry helps teams capture business logic through Extraction workflows and produce structured outputs for review and use. You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms, applicable law, and any separate written agreement between RuleFoundry and you or your organization.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of account information, and activity under your credentials. You must keep your login credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

Customer Content

You retain ownership of information, workflow materials, Extraction topics, prompts, notes, voice audio, and other content you submit to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant RuleFoundry the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Content to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Customer Content, including any confidential, proprietary, regulated, or third-party information.

Connected Assistants and Plugins

If you connect RuleFoundry to a third-party assistant, you direct RuleFoundry to transmit the permitted Customer Content and related metadata needed to fulfill your requests. You must review and approve the requested OAuth access and are responsible for choosing an assistant account and provider appropriate for the content you ask it to use.

RuleFoundry marketplace connections use limited OAuth scopes. They may find Extractions you own or are assigned to access, return status and RuleFoundry app links, and read completed artifacts. At your direction, they may also create an Extraction using the topic, description, and participant you confirm. The participant may be you or another person identified by email. RuleFoundry automatically sends the normal invitation email for an external participant; email is not a separate plugin action. Creation makes a RuleFoundry record, but it does not begin the Extraction. Connections do not begin usage, conduct, resume, complete, modify, resend, or delete an Extraction or artifact. Extraction sessions remain in the RuleFoundry app.

The connected assistant provider's terms and privacy policy apply to content after it is transmitted to that provider and to downstream work the assistant creates. Disconnecting or revoking access stops future RuleFoundry reads but may not delete copies already present in an assistant conversation or downstream output.

Voice and Logic Twin Features

When you participate as the interviewee in a Voice Extraction, you authorize RuleFoundry to record and process the microphone audio needed to provide the Extraction, create a voice representation for your completed Logic Twin, and synthesize that voice when you or an authorized completed-Extraction viewer talks to the Logic Twin. RuleFoundry may associate a ready voice representation with your authenticated account and reuse it for later Extractions requested from the same account until you revoke it; those later Extractions do not require a second clone sample.

You represent that you have authority to provide the voice and other Customer Content you submit. You may not use a Logic Twin voice to deceive people, misrepresent a real person's statements, evade disclosure that the response is AI-generated, or violate another person's rights. The Logic Twin identifies itself as a Logic Twin, is limited to the completed Extraction, and may say that the Extraction does not cover a question. The interviewee may revoke their Logic Twin voice through the Service.

Outputs

The Service may generate summaries, structured artifacts, extraction state, specifications, diagrams, logic-twin views, or other outputs from Customer Content. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require human review. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for business, technical, legal, financial, operational, or compliance decisions. Documents, code, plans, or other work produced by a connected assistant are outputs of that third-party service, not changes to the underlying RuleFoundry artifact.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, submit malicious code, attack or disrupt systems, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer restricted parts of the Service, misrepresent your identity, or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or intended to impersonate another person without authorization.

Beta and Early Access

Some features may be experimental, beta, or early access. Those features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time. We may use feedback you provide to improve RuleFoundry without obligation to you.

Third-Party Services

The Service may depend on third-party services for authentication, hosting, database, email, analytics, AI processing, and related operations. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Fees

Current self-serve plan prices and included usage are shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Team charges are based on paid members and may include a minimum seat commitment. Separate order forms, statements of work, or enterprise agreements control when their terms conflict with these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. RuleFoundry does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that outputs will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RuleFoundry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
